Adam Cooper Wood likes kittens, radio, music, web stuff, Drupal (sometimes), and kittens. He lives in frigid Burlington, Vermont.
When he's not making stuff for the web, he's either cuddling with his kitties or making sweet, sweet music.
MythTV Server
He has totally geeked-out with MythTV via Mythbuntu, a flavor of Ubuntu with MythTV built into it. His Myth setup is an Intel Pentium D running at 2.8ghz with 3TBs of storage for music and tv/movies and 3 capture cards: 1 Hauppauge HVR-1250 for HD broadcasts, 1 PVR-150 for cable direct, and 1 PVR-150 from a Set-top-box. NERD! He founded the South Burlington Mythtv Users Group on Facebook. The group has one member.
The MythTV server not only runs the Ubuntu flavor Mythbuntu, but it is also serving music to the other computers in the via Firefly (formerly mt-daapd) which creates a shared iTunes library from Ubuntu.
On top of that, the server is now a Time Machine backup... machine for the other computers in the house.
Music Box
Adam also has an Intel Core 2 Duo 3ghz 4gig tower Hackintosh running OS X 10.5.8, and Pro Tools 8. Most of his sounds are from Native Instruments' Komplete 7 collection.
Work
Adam develops web stuff for North American Breweries, and occasionally accepts freelance gigs depending on his availability.
